Have you tried adding the user to the power users group on
the workstation? I know this is strange but I'm having a
similar issues with W2k workstations and an NT4 server.
The domain user cannot overwrite files on the server when
logged onto a windows 2000 professional workstation with
user group permissions. The same account on an NT4
worksation has no issues. If I make the account a power
user on the workstation they can now save the documents to
the NT4 server. There appear to be issues with permissions
but I still haven't found if it's a file or registry issue.
The short term solution was to make them all power users.
