I am running Windows 2000. I want to clear my Internet
Explorer history. When I go into Tools, Internet Options,
the CLEAR HISTORY button is grayed out. I cannot click on
it.
The same thing happens when I try to go into INTERNET
OPTIONS via the control panel.
I have tried to go into the history folder directly to
delete them by going to C:\DOCUMENTS AND
SETTINGS\myid\LOCAL SETTINGS\HISTORY\
Even then I am unable to Delete the links. The delete
option is not available.
I thought maybe the directory was protected or in read-
only. I checked and it was not in read only status.
Does anyone know why I can't delete the history?
Thanks,
Alex
