Re: bitlocker and SQl server

I've implemented BitLocker drive encryption on my laptop with Vista Ultimate and Sql server 2008 Developer Edition.
I haven't notice any problems so far .

I've no experience with BitLocker on Windows Server operating systems and with Sql Server Workgroup, standard or enterprise editions .

i have a requirement to configure bitlocker (server 2008 x64 sp1) on Sql
server standard 2008.

im looking around the net abnd cant really find much. in my experience this
usually means that:

1. its an extremely dumb idea and no one has tried it.
2. It works a charm, config is trivial and there is no performance hit
whatsoever and accordinlgly no one has felt the urge to write about it on
line.
3. It doesnt work, wont work and, as above, no one has felt the need to
write about it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for my research?
