Hi Uri,

Error log only shows the login failed (Severity 14 and State 11).
Praictically it is not possible to add a logon trigger in our env.

The only possibility I can think of is to run a new trace for some time if
any event can capture the command executed for failed logins.

1) Take a look into ERROR.LOG ( it may or may not show the IP of the
login)
2) Logon Trigger (SQL Server 2005(SP2) onwards)

Hi all,

Is there is any way I can capture the SQL tried to execute by failed
logins?

We have some unusual failed logins and hard to findout which part of
the
application is failing. If I can capture the SQL behind it.. ITS EASY!!
