MS Access ODBC to SQL, Password Change

When I attach to SQL from MS Access using ODBC, I get the usual login. I
recently wanted to enforce SQL password rules for my users (change password
on first login, change password every 30 days, etc). I now get an error that
user must change password before connect attempt. Ideas as to how I can
continue to let my users attempt access through MS Access and still respond
to password change requests from my SQL?
