Hi Ronald,

Thank you for using Microsoft MSDN Managed Newsgroup. My name is Mark Han.
I am glad to work with you on this issue.

From your description, I understand that you are using TDE and backup file
of (master key ..) is not able to be visited (except within SQL)
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

in order to address your concern, I would like to explain the following
access-denied is a permission error. So please check if "everyone" is added
into the share permission on the share folder. if not, add "everyone"

the detail steps are: right click the shared folder->shareing->permission.

Hope the above helpful.

If there is anything unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know. Have a
nice day!

Best regards,
Mark Han
