Jeff,
Are your System Administrators administrators of both the SQL Server 2005
server and the DB2 server? If they are, there is some suggestion (that I
cannot verify) that this will circumvent the normal security for DB2.
IF that is the case, it would suggest that the login and password in the "Be
made using this security context" boxes are in error. Could you doublecheck
those entries?

Doing properties of the Link Server object and selecting Security.....I
have
only the account necessary to access the DB on DB2.."Be made using this
security context".......I have nothing defined for "Local Server Login to
Remote Server Login mappings...
Thanks

Jeff,
What are the security settings for your linked server? This is on the
Security table of the linked server form. You can creates a script to
display the linked server definition.

SQL Server 2005 linked to DB2......
The queries are successful when procs that access data via the linked
server
are run by System Administrator. Standard users get the
following...error
code SQL1092N Access Denied.
THKS
