Re: guideline for service account user

You'll need to change it manually and restart your services when you change service account details. This applies to all services.

Under the MSSQLSERVER and Agent services properties, there is a 'Log
On' which shows that service's user and a password field. If a Domain
Account is used, does the password on this tab need to be changed
separately, or does changing the Domain password automatically flow to
this service tab?

Thanks,

1) If your SQL Server will run under a domain and need access to network

would not work in the scenario.

2) Don't know about this.
