Hello Alex,
Disable the Remote connection will not disapear the Failure Audit event.
Since when the remote client logon, OS will pass it to SQL Server and get
the login error.
To close the IP port, you may disable the 1433 and 1434 default TCP port
for the SQL Server. You could use the SQL Configuration Manager to check
which port the instance is using.
