I'm not really proficient in SQL or databases in general. Recently, we had a
hacker get into our webs server which also has SQL server running on it (not
a good idea, I know).
We're having the web server rebuilt, this time with a separate SQL server
which will reside on the inside of the firewall.
My question is: is there a way of verifying the integrity of the current
database we have? The database has valuable information and needs to be
retained. I pretty much need to know if there are any tools that I can
utilize to verify integrity and check for inconsistencies and what not.
