sql server 2000: How to prevent users to see databases apart their own

Hello, is it possible to hide databases from the entreprise manager
from db users, so that the db users can only see databases they own or
they have access to?

I know this can be done in SQL Server 2005 with VIEW ANY DATABASE and
VIEW DEFINITION, but i really think there must be an equal solution in
Sql server 2000

Can someone show me the light
:-)

Thanks,
Stig
