i have application written on magic that use sql server 2005 as database.
What is "magic"
when i only set mapping and db_owner role it still brings an error of
permissions.
What error message do you get exactly? And what is that mapping you are
talking about?
Only when i set each permission action on the security window to be true
it allows the users to have all permissions on the database.
What security window? Is that something in "magic", or something in your
application?
For my knolwlage db_owner is the top permission which allows everything.
But it doesn't seem to me to be a good idea to let all users have db_owner
rights.
