Did you delete BULTIN/Administrator Logim in SQL Server or removed it from
sysadmin server role?

SQL Server 2000 + SP4 .
Sql Server service , startup manual, Startup account : Local System
I can start the service, the client application can connect, everything is
OK.
SqlAgentServer, startup : manual, Startup account: Local System.
When I start the server Agent manually it stops immediately.
In the Application event log I have:
1. Error: "SQLServerAgent could not be started (reason: Unable to
connect to server '(local)'; SQLServerAgent cannot start)."
2. Information: "SQLServerAgent service successfully stopped."
In the ...Management->Sql Server Agent/ Display Error Log I have 2 error
messages:
1. "[165] ODBC Error: 0, Cannot generate SSPI context [SQLSTATE
HY000] "
2. "[000] Unable to connect to server '(local)'; SQLServerAgent
cannot start"
If I change the Startup account to a Local Administrator the server agent
service starts without any problems.
Any ideas why don't start my service with the Local System account.
