Windows 2003 Server groups to access SQLServer
Hi,
I would like to set up a group on my w2003 Server domain whose members can
access SQLServer databases via a custom application. I would like the users
to have privileges to read/update/delete any tables in any database the
application might access, without giving them Administrator privileges.
While I could find a way to do this through SQLServer security on a database
by database basis, the application warrants database upgrades frequently at
which time a new database (with a new name) is created. The result of this
is that the permissions must be modified every time a new database comes on
line.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
