windows authentication question

I'm setting up an app to access a SQL 2000 db and have been reading that
it's more secure and easier to manage by using windows authentication rather
than SQL authentication. So far this makes sense as my client app won't have
to pass a user name or password to the SQL db.

However, what do I have to do to prevent most users from being able to get
into the backend through something like enterprise manager? How do I limit
this access?

This is not a web app, it's just a win32 exe that will run on several
workstations on a LAN where the SQL server might be running on either a
separate server box or might be running on one of the workstations in a P2P
network.

Thanks,

Keith
