viewing existing aliases

Hello Gurus,
This one has me stumped. My boss loves to use aliases. One of the
departments is getting an access violation error I tried to add on the
preset user for them the message says there is already an alias
existing. I tried to drop all aliases to then add them back hoping this
would clear problem. the drop output said there were no aliases? My
question is : Is there a way to view all aliases on a database or for a
specific logon?
