    I've tried to follow the msdn article on our internal network as a test and
    it although I can issue certificates etc, I can not see that there is any
    effect. ie if I enforc encryption, it makes no difference to the client.

    The thing that puzzled me was the line in the article that says you need:
    "Two computers running the Microsoft Windows® 2000 Server operating system"
    I'm talking about XP Pro clients using Access Front ends that make the ODBC
    calls. Am I in the right paddock?
