I use enterprise manager for my SQL-Server databases.

I got a new-used computer recently - our computer support folks tell me they
re-built it from the ground up.

On my old workstation, I could open enterprise manager, open one of my
databases (stored on a seperate SQL-Server), go to the 'users' folder, and
    SEE my users listed there.

On my new computer, enterprise manager works just fine in every way but one:
I can no longer see my users listed in any of my databases' user folders.

The SQL-Server DBA can see my users, and he has re-checked all of my
permissions - everything looks in order. He also had me log in to his
computer, and open the user folder for one of my databases through enterprise
manager, and lo and behold, I could see my users listed there just like I
    could on my old computer.

So we think the problem is with my local machine. I've tried re-installing
enterprise manager (actually SQL-Server 2000...), but no fix. Our suspicion
is that maybe there's some registry setting that needs to be added or
tweaked... This is over my head. I talked to our computer support folks,
who say they have no idea why my old computer worked fine, but the new one
    doesn't. So now I'm stuck.

Any experience with this out there?

Sincerest appreciation to anyone who knows the answer,
    - dave
