problem with HOtfix MS05-027

When I execute a Restore DB from a Remote server. The SQL Server report the
following error.
 
 "-2147467259 Msg: Unspecified errorDescription: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
Driver]Timeout expired."

SQL Server
SO: Windows 2000 SP 4
SQL: SQL 2000 SP 4

Remote Server.
SO: Windows 2000 SP 4
Utilities: SQL 2000
 
Any ideas?
