I am in the process of configureing a new server.
OUr company is a large finacial institution, the securities are very strict
and compalex here.
This server is going to support reporting on accounting area like AP,
treasuery, mordege databse on a daily bases.users access reports by intrnet
and possibly by internet. So lots security issues are involved. Following
are list thing I have to take into consideration.
1. When I configure the server network protocols, I use named pipes, tcp/IP
.which should be good enough I think. but do I have to check the two box
"Enforce protocol encryption" and "Enable winsock proxy" ?
2. Is this better to have my databses encrypted?
3. Any session encryption requirement?
Thanks a lot.
