Hi,
SP3a is a service pack which needs to be installed on your sql server
machine. What you need to do is down load the Sp3a and extract the file to
a folder. Go to the extracted folder and double click on the setup.exe. This
will automatically sense the existing sql server installation change the
required files and updates the system databases.
Service packs are released by vendors to fix the issues identified.
