forcing entry of username/password with AD authentication

    We have the need to use Active Directory authentication in Sql Server but
    also need to have the user enter a username/password when they start up an
    application.
    It seems that if nothing is entered the original SID from the Windows login
    gets used.
    Is there any way to force the reauthentication through AD using newly
    entered credentials?
