Again my fault, should have added the latest information after last
post.

Thanks to Google My Starred Topics, I was able to see your reply.

After more testing , I found that changing machine name does not effect
the users login, it was inside my database were users were referenced
as MachineName\UserName that was causing it to fail.

I am using "local" because my application is making local connections
only, user can connect to sql server on network by providing machine
name and instance name in a dialog box.
