Hi,
Steps in creating alerts:
1. Open system monitor
2. Expand the Performace Logs and alerts group
3. Right click above alerts and select New alert
4. Give a Alert name as Memory Monitoring
5. In the counter , click Add
6. Select the performance object "Memory"
7. Select the counter "Available Mbytes"
8. Alert when value is "UNDER" - Give a value based on the physical memory
(if it is 1024 MB (1GB) then
give a value (150 MB)
9. Set the "Sample data every" 20 Mintes (Units)
10. Send the alert to Application error log / Seding Net send to you.
