Hi, I've just recently started to evaluate SQL Server2000. I've created a
couple of DTS packages which I would like users to try. Having loaded the
client software on Win2000 PC's everything works fine. However trying to use
XP(SP1) is a different matter. The XP PC continually fails to connect with a
'Cannot generate SSPI context' error. I am running the SQL Server on my
Win2000 PC SP4. I've loaded the SQL2000 SP's. If I try to access my PC
through Network places using the XP PC I get a sign on screen whereas with
Win2000 Pc's I get straight onto my PC. I've looked at 811889. I can ping my
PC from XP and it resolves the name when using the -a. I'm using windows
authentication as the security system. Any suggestions?
