We have a server that contains one 20Gb database and, unfortunately, the
application that connects to it has to have DBO rights or no rights at
all. (yeah great app!)
Howver, I've increasingly found that the developers have started making
schema changes without my knowledge and certainly no form of change
management involved.
Also, they've started adding DTS packages to the server.
Becuase it's a 24x7 I, as DBA, am increasingly concerned that they might
mess up the database and I get the 3am call to fix it.
Is there any way I can lock down the schema & DTS packages so that they
can't make changes or add things to the system.
Or even if there are any way to alert me if they make changes.
Thanks!
