We have a single master model with multiple sites,
abc.com. One of our sites, Chicago, has a SQL server
which communicates with a SQL box at our HQ's in Denver.
For whatever reason, Chicago has to be put on its own
domain in a separate forest than Denver, 123.com. All SQL
servers use SQL authentication, not windows. I would
rather not create trusts. If all authentication is done
through SQL logins, would authentication be an issue with
the new domain / forest? Basically, I want to remove the
SQL box in Chicago, from abc.com and add it to 123.com,
without modifying trusts. Is there a lot more to this, or
would it be fairly straightforward?
