Previous post:
"a) what are the secured protocols supported by SQL Merge Replication?
 b) What are the various options available to perform SQL Merge replication
over secured channel (sftp,SSL etc) ?

c)If we use Force Encryption on SQL Server then other applications on that
server are affected with drop in performance...
d) Is there any other way to secure Merge replication...

a) SSL, IPSec
b) SSL, VPN
c) Yes. You would need to measure the change in performance as it varies
upon hardware and resources. I would recommend
reviewing the performance of your application and database design before
spending time on performance hit related to protocol encryption.

d) SSL, VPN, IPSec.
