 Hi Andre,

 You're probably lucky that you're marketting at companies mainly without
DBA's. Some/many companies with DBA's would insist on your product working
with their "standard" dbms (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL etc.) and wouldn't consider
using it if it didn't.

 You're not the first looking for better security features, and you won't be
the last I'm sure! But, in their defence, MS want SQL Server as a mass-market
dbms, so they put their resources into features that will earn them the most
revenue/market share. (As would any sensible company seeking to make a profit,
let's be honest!). That's not to say they won't be putting more "security"
features into SQL Server, because, absolutely they will, but how many
people/companies actually need the level of security/encryption that you're
looking for?

 Anyway, good luck with the investigations, and please report back on your
results.
