running IIS and SQL on same machine

There has been some question brought up about security risks of running IIS and SQL server on the same server.

We have IIS 5 and SQL running on the same server. SQL is basically being used for simple database things. We need more of a front end web site with some database usage in the background. Since it is a small database, it does not effect overall performance that much.

If there are any risks with this, what are they? I'm interested in arguments either way.

Thanks,

Charlie
