RE: SSL configuration for SQL server

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for replying. I have already read both the links
that you have sent. I have created a certifiacte and
installed it on my machine but somehow, when I go to
Internet explorer properties, and goto the certificte
content, I do not see this certificate in the "Personal"
section. I see it as issued in the Certification
Authority.

For these reaasons my SQL cannot see any certificate and
hence cannot start in the secure mode. So if I have them
configures as "Force encryption", the SQL server does not
start at all.

I think this has something to do with the certificate not
visible in the "Personal" tab of IE.
