Yes, using SQLDMO, assuming you are talking about the servers registration
properties where you have it registered using a SQL login. However they
would have to sign on as you (to your PC) or get access to it when you were
signed on.
Yes, assuming there is no SSL encryption involved, SQL logins and passwords
can be picked off a network trace, the "encryption" is very weak and the
passwords are faily distinctive (every other byte is A5)
