Integrated Security in a Workgroup?

I'm trying to set up a development environment for developing an ASP.Net app
that needs to access an SQL Server 2000 database. The development will be
taking place on two distinct machines, both in the same workgroup, but there
is no domain or domain controller. Visual Studio.Net (and the ASP app
itself) reference the database using a local account named <machine>\ASPNET.
On machine "B" (where the SQL Server is running) I had no problem setting up
permissions on tables, etc. using user B\ASPNET. But apparently I cannot set
up an account on machine B with the name A\ASPNET (which is what the
development environment on machine A needs).

So, any suggestions on how to all a developer on machine A to use Visual
STudio.Net (2003) to access SQL2000 on machine B via a user id of A\ASPNET?

Thanks in advance,
 Bill
