Hi,
I have question for the Novell experts. Is is possible to synchronize
multiple Windows-Logins with Novell?
The problem is the access to an SQL-Server from a Novell Network. As
SQL-Server uses integrated Windows Authentification, the login works if the
local Windows user of each accessing client exists WITH THE SAME PASSWORD on
the Windows server the SQL-Server is running on.
Problems come up, when a client changes its Novell password because Novell
synchonizes the local Windows-password with the Novell password but not the
password on the server. The result is that the login on the windows server
fails because the password of the local windows user does not match with the
password of the user on the server the SQL-server is running on.
Best regards,
Christian
