SQL or Server 2003 Authentication Problem?

We have a new install that has Windows 2003 Server. The proprietary software that was purchased uses SQL. I installed SQL with SP3 on this server. There are 2 hardwired stations that are W2K and one wireless that is Tablet XP Pro. The two hardwired machines are able to connect to the SQL server but there is a bit of a delay. The wireless station will not connect to SQL (I'm getting a timeout message). I went into SQL and set the timeout to 0 for that database and all workstations can log onto the network. AD is enabled and users are setup with accounts. Is there an additional security setting that I need to adjust for the wireless station to finally connect with SQL? Is Server 2003 running a security protocol that is causing the timeout or the connection pauses?

Thanks!
