    The domain user should have Read & Execute permission to <SQL Server installation path>\MSSQL folder (<SQL Server
    installation path>\MSSQL$<instance name> folder for a named instance) so that the SQL Server performance counters are available to the
    user. If that doesn't allow you to use the counters, then post the exact error you get when you try to use them and let us know if other counters
    (non-SQL ones) are usable.
