Port 1433

I read the new Microsoft Security Manual. They recommend
limiting access to database servers to Ports 1433 and
1434. Does Microsoft Enterprise Manager and SQL Query
Analyzer use port 1433 or another port. Also, looking for
a comprehensive list of standard software ports and there
uses.
