I am planning an upgrade of an Access (front and back
end) application to access the data on SQL Server 2000.
I am planning the install and configuration of the SQL
Server and am reading a lot of articles that favor using
Windows Only authentication. The current application
uses it's own user profile table to determine what forms
and functions the user can perform. So my question is
how do I incorporate Windows authentication with the user
profile table. This application has the portential of
being web based in the future, so I want to design it
correctly the first time. Please provide some insight or
maybe a cookbook plan. Thanks.
