I have a SQL database with an Access project back end.
Users need to update a single field in one table. I built
a form and restricted their view to only employees in
their department;and update to the specific field. This
works great. However, if the user selects tables, the
table with the update field is visible. Even more
critical, any user can modify any field. There are
numerous jobs, stored procedures, and views that utilize
this table. Any ideas on how to hide the table in Access,
or restrict users from changes, except via the form?
