I have a position that I am desperately trying to fill. It
is for a SQL Server Application DBA here in Houston TX
with a fortune 500 company. We are looking for someone
who works on a day to day basis with the application
developers and works primarily on the back end databases
for the applications that are being developed.

<b> Here is the position Description </b>

Keywords: MS SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Triggers

Our client is seeking a "SQL Server Applications DBA".
The candidate must have strong hands-on SQL Server and
Transact SQL technical skills to perform analysis, design,
and development of database objects including but not
limited to Tables, Stored Procedures, and Triggers. Must
have experience with databases in a cluster environment,
know/define the processes, tune the current applications
and new applications. Must be proficient with database
access, database modeling and design, and query tools.
Must have an understanding of complex SQL queries and the
creation, debugging and optimization of them.

Required:
* Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years
* 2-5 years of SQL Server, Extensive T-SQL, stored
procedures and triggers, data modeling (ERwin), Oracle,
PL/SQL, & other database work.
* Strong analytical and programming skills are required.
