David,
Fortunately the SQL Slammer worm is memory-only resident, so if you apply
service pack 3 to SQL Server 2000, and then stop and restart SQL Server
(which one has to do anyway when installing service pack 3), you can rest
assured that even if your SQL Server 2000 instance was infected, the simple
act of restarting SQL Server will have cleared out the infection.

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which
can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.
