Hi,
I have been running SQL 2000 Advanced Server without a
problem for many months. I have service pack 2 installed
with what I thought was the critical update to prevent the
slammer from infecting my server.
Anyhow, as of this morning I was unable to login to any of
my data bases from the Enterprise Manager. When I click
on the "+" to the left of my server name I get a message
saying that the "Connection failed, check SQL Server
Registration Properties"
When I go into the BDE Administrator from the control
panel and try to click on the "+" to the left of one of
the my SQL DBs I keep getting asked as to enter in a
username ("sa") and password. It appears as though my old
password has changed.
Any ideas as to how to fix this or my I re-install SQL
Server 2000? Thanks.
