To fix SQLSLammer virus.
tried to install SP2.
error
"Setup was unable to verify the state of server for an
upgrade. Verify if server is able to start and that you
provided a valid sa password and restart setup'
I chose 'Windows Authentication' instead 'SQL Server
Authentication'.
My SQL is
Product Version 8.00.194
Personal Edition.
Service Pack 3. (even though I can't
remember that
I installed Service Pack 3).
I got this information by SQL.
SELECT @@VERSION
---------------
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.194 (Intel X86)

Service Pack 3)

I used to login the computer using Novell.
Our office is using Novell(sorry!!).
When I login in Novell that looks like remember windows
login information, too.
but my company network
disabled my wallport because my PC was running a version
of Microsoft SQL server that is vulnerable to a remote
compromise.
so, I can login Novell as only workstation only.
Thanks for any help in advance.
