What symptoms are you seeing that lead you to believe it's the slammer
virus? Are you seeing things in this form in netmon coming from your SQL
Server box?

1) Go to Capture -> Filter (F8)

2) Click on (Pattern Matches)

3) Under Add click on the Pattern button

4) In the 'Pattern Match' window enter

            Pattern -> 040101010101

            Offset -> 2A (From Start of Frame: for Ethernet networks)

                        -or-

                          1C (From end of topology header: for non-Ethernet
networks)

This will setup a capture filter to look for packets that contain the
payload sequence starting with 040101010101.
