:/ After copying the recommended files and running
securityhotfix.sql in Query Analyzer, I get the
message, "Unable to connect to server \\myservername
Server: Msg 14, Level 16, State 1 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL
Server Driver][Named Pipes]Invalid Connection."
I know that in the server properties in Enterprise
Manager, I changed the Max user connections to 1, but
cancelled due to the warning message. This was just prior
to running the script. Now I cannot use Query Analyzer,
Enterprise Manager, osql after starting sqlservr.exe -c -f
or the application that depends on SQL Server. Oh, I also
ran cliconfg to change from named pipes to TCP/IP. I'm
running in circles and getting lost.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me.
