Bart,
When you applied SP3, did you select the correct "instance name" or default
(no instance name)?
Re-apply SP3 and be sure that you have either selected 'default' or the
correct instance name (a list of instance names, will be in the drop down
box). If you have further problems, please post the sqlsp.log file.
