Hi Sergio,
Assuming you are using SQL Server 2000, the issue you describe is a known
one. Please refer the Knowledge Base article Q306199 - FIX: Dynamic IP
Addresses Cannot Connect to SQL Server 2000 which talks it. The issue is
fixed in SQL Server Service Pack 2. URL for this article is
