The ASP procedure already exist which does number 1 and 3 on your list.
I didn't write it but I think I will have to change it to write the
results to a table as you have suggested. I will have to do this on the
ASP side as the SQL Server doesn't "see" the NT username. I can see
where this will slow down the process.
