I created a Domain Local Security Group and added a user to it. Then went
into SQL Server 2000, and added the Security Group and granted DataReader
access to a database. He gets denied access everytime he tries to connect.
If I just add him as a user, with DataReader access, he can connect. I would
prefer to have the Security Groups. Cna anyone explain why this doesn't
work?
