xp_logingrant failure: unable to query sql server security information

Hi,

I am using sql server 6.5 in NT 4 server, I login as sa in
sql security manager to grant a local group to sa
privilege. But I get the error:

xp_logingrant failure: unable to query sql server security
information.

How can I fix it?
